New Wellness Series
Lifeskills Programs (career, academic, leasing an apartment, etc.)

OutSpoken – newly revamped and structured, no longer a cohort program, more flexible and open to all youth regardless of whether they are working towards completion with a certificate in leadership development.

Newly Structured Youth Council to not only provide voice for youth-driven programs, but also to provide youth with hands-on, leadership experiences and opportunities.

Professional Training Institute (January 2018)

Enhanced curriculum-based LGBTQ Training

Better delivery system of professional trainings for schools, companies, state agencies and community groups.

Opportunity to support local independent trainers through a collaborative trainer consortium.

Newly Redesigned GSA Coalition – Launch for Fall 2017

Create better access to consultation and services, including enhanced outreach to K-12 private and public schools across the state.

Increase member schools as part of the Coalition.

Create an online space to share and communicate among member schools.

Work towards being awarded an Americorp VISTA Fellowship to support the program.

Staffing Structure (Fall 2017)
YPI will be hiring for an Assistant Dir. of Programs & Education this summer.
We have also created a part-time Administrative Coordinator position and are pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffani Carcieri to the role. Tiffani most recently served as the Building Manager for the Gender & Sexuality Center at the University of URI. We are excited to welcome her to YPI.
