Attention diverse people of Providence! How the hell are ya?? As 2015 quickly encroaches the finale, and we all remember what an amazing year it’s been, let’s make note of a few things, shall we?
I’d like to thank the community for all the support that was shed from bar to bar city wide. As business owners we try to create as many fun events as we can either together or separately. We all had a blast! Without you, we are nothing. Now, just a few things to remember for the upcoming festive months… Dark Lady and St. Baldricks host the annual “HEAD SHAVE” benefiting children stricken with cancer. People raise money within the community and on-line by shaving their heads for the kids. All non-profit and certainly all good. Just visit the Dark Lady FB page for the date.
We would like to congratulate Henry from MIRABAR on his new venture HEAT. The city’s newest spot for boys and booze. We all wish you well.
As the year comes to an end so does the unbelievable work of Miss Kitty Litter. Over the decades Steven Hartley has raised over $1,000,000 for AIDS care throughout the state helping literally thousands of families in dire need. Your work was undeniable and your presence unforgettable. We all wish you the best in the future with everything you do.
Let’s not forget a quick visit to the cities local theaters> TRINITY REP and PPAC, first-works, festival ballet and the Ocean State Theatre Company for amazing line-ups of holiday shows and actors. This season is gonna rock!
With all the craziness, shows and bar-hopping, don’t forget to stop by FRISKIE FRIES for the cities crispest-friskiest fries in town. Located on the corner of Snow and Washington on the weekends. You might even catch Tom Wright out front doing little diddly…(which is actually ALL Wrong…)
In closing this article with so many other things to mention and so many other great spots to spend your time, we all would like to say goodbye to an amazing member of the community, Lori Shurygailo. She was a very special person with a spark of life that can never be duplicated. May you rest in peace, girl. We will miss you so very much…
Peace out and a wicked safe holiday season Rande Diantuono
